I am an architectural storyteller who works with architects, preservationists, museums, and communities to document and then harness architecture for good. I have committed my professional life to promoting the Genius Loci, or Spirit of Place. I have done multiple TEDx and Pecha Kucha talks on vernacular design and critical regionalism, cultural mythology, pattern languages, and photography, and I regularly speak and give tours on the same. I specialize in spiritual architecture in the Southwest, Santa Fe Style, and the symbolic works of mid-century modern architect and designer Alexander Girard. My design work includes architecture, landscapes, museum and magazine curations, fashion, jewelry, painting, digital art, and photography.
